So, as I vowed to explore the world (or at least my little corner of it), today I went to a cafe I'd never been to before, in a place I've rarely even walked through. Well out of the way of busy traffic - buses full of people seeing Sydney for the first time through windows sprinkled with rain drops, and business men in small cars, and business women in four wheel drives. The city is a marvelous place, but a place in which clogging your lungs with pollution is not hard. It's nice sometimes to remove yourself from the energy of city life and into the world of macaroons, cute tiled-floors and my oh-so-favourite CEREAL magazine. With so many tiny flavoured biscuits to choose from, it was a tough decision as to which of the handmade macaroons to pick. I had to narrow it down to two - green tea and caramel - before sitting down to watch how they were made.
In the future, I will definitely be returning here. I don't know if it's the magazines, the macaroons or the interiors I love most, but I don't think I'll ever be able to decide.
